Sofress Mode. This organization is the Indian affiliate of one of the world’s largest market research company.
The Indian Institute of Planning and Management, with a unit in Bangalore has been ranked eighth in the survey. The country has an estimated BSD business school.
The Business barons survey was based on the parameters, Quality of students placements salaries commanded; Depth of Industry interface; quality of course, content and infrastructure.
Equal weightage was give to each of these parameters.
The Individual ranking for such institute on each of the five parameters are aggregate and divided by the number categories to arrive at the “composite mean score.” This score forms the basis of overall ranking. The top ten B-school were Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad IIM, Bangalore IIM, Calcutta Xamer labour Relation Institute Jamshedpur IIM, Lucknow faculty of Management studies, Delhi Jamnada Bajaj Institute of Management studies Mumbai: Indian Institute of Planning and Management, IIM, Indore and Shilesh J. Mehta School of Management, Mumbai.
The top five B-School under the category “Quality of Course Content” are IIM, Ahmedabad IIM, Bangalore IIM, Culcutta Indian Institute of Planning and Management and Xamer Labour Relation Institute Jamshedpur.
The top five B-School Under “Industry Interface” are IIM, Ahmedabad; Indian Institute of Planning and Management, IIM, Bangalore IIM, Culcutta and Faculty of Management Studies.

Indian School Students could now compete nation wide science paper contest called the “DuPont Indian Challenge”. The contest is organized by L.L. DuPont India Pvt. Ltd. A subsidiary of L.L DuPoint the nemotits and company, a U.S based science and technology firms. Instituted as part of the company’s 200 th anniversary celebrations last year, the challenge contest closes on August 31.
Over 400 school are expected in participate in the Challenge this year. In Its first edition last year over 300 school and more than 1500 students took part.
Winners of the Challenge will receive award certificates and prize money. Three awards will be presented in two categories – junior (classes V to VIII ) and Senior (classes XI to XII).
The scholarship worth prize money for the 1 place is Rs. 12000, for the 2 place Rs 9000

As many as 5500 students appeared in the post-graduate entrance test 2003 INT Medical and Dental Seats conducted by the Rajiv Ganhi University of Health Science.
Of course, 5590 were medical aspirant while 1,307 were dental seats aspirants successful candidates will be selected for the PG Degree and Diploma Courses for the Academic Year 2003-04.
The test was conducted with the objective type of questions and was subjected to valuation by the OMB Success Method. The five test centers were spread over Bangalore.
